Privacy notice

PsyServices Academy is an online psychology education provider based in Mahé, Seychelles. This notice explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it and the choices you have. We follow the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation for every learner, wherever they live.

We collect only what we need to run your courses and answer your questions.

• Account details: your name, email address and an encrypted password.
• Learning records: enrolments, lesson progress, quiz and exam results, assignments and files you submit, instructor feedback and certificates.
• Orders: the course, the amount, any discount code and the payment reference. Card payments are processed by a certified payment provider, and card details never reach or stay on this website.
• Messages you send through the contact form.

We use your data to deliver the courses you enrol in, review your work, issue and verify certificates, send receipts and course notifications, remind you before your access ends and reply to your messages. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is strictly necessary for your account to work and is removed when you sign out.

We measure visits with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies and do not identify you personally, so no consent banner is needed. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Course emails such as receipts and feedback notifications may record whether they were opened and which links were clicked, so we can make sure important messages arrive. Links that sign you in or contain personal tokens are never tracked.

When you receive a certificate, anyone who has its unique ID can confirm it on our verification page. Only your name, the course, the certificate type and the issue date are shown. Your email address, results and submissions are never displayed.

Your completed lessons, results and certificates remain available after your course access ends, so you can download your certificate at any time. Contact messages are kept for up to two years. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, in which case your certificates will no longer verify.

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and you can object to how it is used. Send your request through the contact page and we will respond within one month.

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, sessions use secure cookies that scripts cannot read, files you submit are stored privately and are visible only to you and your instructors, and our data is backed up regularly.
